Good Traders with Bad Trading Behavior
These traders although not necessarily "bad" as in having ripped people off -
have exhibited poor trading behaviour. What is poor trading behaviour?
Check out the Trading Rules primer.
You should be wary of trading with the following people:
- Blake Crawford, blakecrawf@aol.com
- Offered Steve Hess a trade, which was accepted, then over the weekend,
traded the promised card away. He also treated David Kirsch in a similar fashion.
- Peter Esposito, glaurunga@aol.com
Offered Martin Toggweiler a trade, which was accepted. Peter then noticed
that he didn't have all the cards to make the whole trade, and told Martin.
Martin replied with a soft ball warning, hoping that Peter might learn from
this mistake, and confirmed that a partial trade was acceptable. Peter
got pissed, and now refuses to make the initial (partial) trade.
- Rob Mattox
Bid on several cards in Phil Thompson's MEGA Auction, and then attempted to
withdraw them after they were posted. When informed that this was not
possible because they were accepted in good faith, he agreed to get the cards
that he eventually won. When asked to honor his work he refused.
- Peter Keeley-Pannett,
hyrophonter@hotmail.com
Asked both Dirk Docter and Wolfgang Penetsdorfer to hold cards for him (large
orders) until after X-mas when he would have the cash. He has since neglected
to contact them, resulting in lost selling chances for these "reserved" cards.
- Pan, Erich
Asked Wim Heemskerk to hold cards for him (large order, including pulling
a bunch of uncommons/commons/fixed), and then proceeded to string Wim out
for many weeks, despite Phone Calls Wim made to him.
- Brun, Ernst
Made a trade with Timo Lutter. He did send cards as promised, but one of them
was wrong (which Ernst replaced). The entire trade took over 2 months...
- Santiago Brizuela
Made a trade with Seppo Kuukasjarvi and never sent the card
