Subject: Some General Questions...

just a couple of questions today. I suppose they were asked before, but I haven't been very active on the list or playing METW lately :-( Anyways, I started a new play group (people get really excited when you give them cards for free and then see that they can buy more for very little). These questions came up and I gave answers but don't really know if I gave the correct answers:

1) Can you reveal cards like Lure of Nature, Lure of Expedience, etc. as on-guard cards?

Generally, yes. Lure of Nature, for example, would not require any corruption checks as the end of the M/H phase has already passed.

2) What is the very general basic rule what cards (besides creature rule) can be revealed on-guard?

An on-guard card may only be revealed if it could have also been played during the movement/hazard phase. An on-guard card may be revealed when the company plays a resource that potentially taps the site. The card must affect the company or a character in the company that site phase.

3) A manifestation of a character cannot play character specific cards, correct? Example: Strider cannot play Return of the King.

Correct.

Then if on my previous turn. Say Ugluk and some fellows went to Bag End and Kill All But NOT the Haflings, find a red book and hear some News from the Shire.

Now on my turn can I do the following movement.
1) Bag End to Goblin Gates play Leg it Double Quick
2) Goblin Gates to Dol Guldur then play Forced March
3) Dol Guldur to Barad Dur and have and happy master for been so fast.

I see nothing wrong with this play.
