Subject: [VAN] Q: Aware of their Ways
Aware of their Ways lets you look at 4 random cards in your opponent's discard pile and remove a revealed, non-unique card from play. Ok so far. When you leave a tapped site, it goes into your discard pile. Therefore it must be possible for AotW to reveal sites.
So, do sites count as "unique"? Can I remove a site from the game so my opponent may never visit that site? Sites don't contain the word "unique" anywhere that I can remember--it's an explicit book-rule that only one copy of non-Haven sites may be included.

Subject: Minor Items
If I have a squatting minion deck, and I play let's say Vile Fumes during the site phase . . . . I can then tap another character in the company to play a minor item.
Can I do this each and every site phase at the same site? Is the only requirement that an item, ally, or faction is played at a site, or must that site be originally untapped to get the "free" minor item?

Van,
I'm curious if you know or could find out if ICE plans on hosting a World Championship for MECCG this year.

Subject: question for list
Chad, could you post this to the METW list for me? Thanks.
Question about Hour of Need and Old Road: do they require an untapped site? Do they tap the site? Do they tap the haven (assuming hour of need played in a haven)?

Quick question (a probably pretty easy), is Perfect Gold Ring considered a hoard item?

Subject: Question about Dragon Helm
the card says that a warrior gets the bonuses. If the bearer is not a warrior, can the helm still tap to cancel a drake/dragon attack ?

Subject: Agents influencing factions question
Hey all
When a Agent wishes to influence a faction it must be at the site the faction if playable. What about non-unique factions playable at multiple sites (i.e. Panalopy of Wings)? Does the agent need to be at any of the sites that the faction could have been played at, or at the specific site that faction was played at?

Subject: Q about Anarin
I apologize if this was asked before, can Anarin tap to attack a company that hasn't moved in a haven (such as squatting sages at Rivendell)?

During the character draft, first character. I play Strider, my opponent plays Aragorn. Do they both bounce, or just my Strider?

The card says to return all factions playable at a site to owner's hand: would this include hero versions of the factions also ?

Yes he can. Anarin can attack a company that hasn't moved at his current site but if it is at a haven, the attack is cancelled.
Since when are agent attacks cancelled at hero havens? I know that agent attacks are automatically cancelled at darkhavens and at wizardhavens, but the original question here referred to squatting sages at Rivendell.
I believe this has been extended to hero havens as well. Let's have Van give his final say on this.

Subject: [VAN] A couple of questions
A couple of questions came up in a recent game with Christian Nicholes:
1. If a company doesn't "successfully" move to a Darkhaven (example: I discard Baduila at the new site, Carn Dum, and force him to return to his site of origin, Dol Guldur), can he play Iron-road at Dol-Guldur to attempt to move again to Carn Dum?
2. If my opponent plays A Malady Without Healing against me, can I respond to the corruption check with A Friend or Three (or any other resource) despite the fact that it is not my resource turn?
