Isn't that archetype already meant with both glorf/Beorn and/or Alatar in the South?

Should I put this in the Decks forum? Perhaps stickied?

Since it's actually got links to the decks posted here and is like an omnibus of resource decks, I'd say putting it stickied at the top of the decks forum is a good idea and an appropriate place. :)

Gccg sample decks

Post by wigy » Wed Aug 31, 2005 10:10 am

It would be awesome, if we get some day all of these decks or deck portions in to the Gccg. I tried to collect more sample decks in my "Please contribute some decks" project, but i got only one. Thanks Kris!

Yeah, I was thinking of submitting some decks to you Wigy, but I've just been too busy to put together noob-friendly decklists. Most of the ones here need at least a little explanation before they get played: otherwise the person will do very stupid things with them (e.g. Red Hills, Return of the Stewards, etc.).

Perhaps someone would like to take on the task of converting some of the easier decks here into gccg format?

Anyone?

Since the comment part got never implemented in the Gccg ver.1, i suggest that anyone collecting the decklistings, should instead give the name and gccg import location (well, not yet known) as a reply in the article describing the deck.

Note: please use NetMECCG format. That is useful for other programs too.

I think that if we get nice collection, i'll build some script that extracts all decks from the Gccg-package and builds some web-archive for easy download non-Gccg users.

Just thinking that would be a very useful thing to do. One could even post deck lists using the "Code" tags for insta-copy/paste, but then maybe that's just making it a little too easy... ;)

Better prepare myself for more Cheezagasts and Red Hills... ;)

What a great idea and an amazing collection! Haven't come up with any that haven't been mentioned, but I'll keep trying.

I offer a challenge:

Everyone else combined finish one of the other categories before I finish the minion category. The person who posts the last deck to finish a category gets any card from my trade list on Chris Cable's site for free!

Tempting, but every category has at least 1 deck that I have no idea to construct ...
