UPDATE:

Here is my conversation with Jo Hartwig by email today.

Hallo Patrick,

for my part I see no problems to use the map within your personal community.

But at the time I have no information, if there still exist any property rights by Tolkien Enterprises or even by Warner Bros or any similar company. In this case it can generate a lot of troubles, when you use the map for commercial purposes.

I'm sorry that I cannot really help you with a precise information about this.

Best regards
Jo Hartwig

> Hi Mr Hartwig. I know in the past you have creating an awesome middle-earth map. I'm a fan of your map and i'm not the only one. In the late 90' ICE have release a cards game called Middle-earth : The Wizards. The game have a map of middle-earth too. Our community of players which still play the game 14 years after the game was canceled want to ask if you could give to us the "authorisation" to use your map to create a better map for our game. We want to print a map for our personnal use. We doesn't want to do nothing more than adapt your map for our game.
