Earlier this year I did some orienting on where I wanted to be going professionally and as a result I went back to university to complete my masters degree. I'm almost there now: August 15 I will present my thesis

.
I'm posting this both to share my joy and to explain why I haven't been around much to those who might have missed me. I'm not sure that is going to change much though with, once graduated, first a holiday coming up and then a challenging new job. I'm still serving the customers of my store as faithfully as ever, but beyond that it is ever more for the new generation of MeCCG activists

Yeah, congratulations Wim :!: (hope that's not bad luck to congratulate prematurely). Curious about your field as well, often we spoke but I never asked

I will be
ingeneur (Ir) Technische Bedrijfskunde, which according to my university I am to translate as
Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering and Management. (Didn't have time to look that up when I posted last time.)
That aside, I'll continue to be a software developer specialised in back-end technology for complex websites. Just one with more long term career perspective
