Montreal World Championships...Five Years Later

Today is the fifth anniversary of the MECCG World Championships that were held in Montreal.

The Montreal event was the best and largest tournament I'd ever run, thanks to all the cool players who travelled from around the world to join in on the fun.

Why you don't creat another event in montreal?  I'm very interested!!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let the organisers from Worlds 2002 know that it was the best tournament I've ever been too. The whole atmosphere, the people, the games where magnificent and I'd love to go back to Montreal. Any excuse is good for me.

Likewise. That was my first large-scale MECCG event, and I loved it. I'd jump at the chance to go back again.

Once again, I would have to tell people that although I would love to go, I couldn't. But, seeing that this is still in the maybe catagory, I don't have to yet.
