UEP Ratification

I think its time we took another look at the direction of the UEP project. Clearly the intoduction of Virtual Cards has made some UEPs obsolete. This is particularly true for the more complex UEPs that were trying to strengthen certain strategies such as active Ringwraiths. IMHO this can be more eas...

I think this failed for two reasons: 1. You tried to change two things in one UEP: nazgul automatic attacks and nazgul attacks against a company containing the Balrog. 2. Editing the UEP half way through created confusion. You may find a simpler UEP (see above suggestion by Thorsten) has a greater c...

Is that less confusing, or are you confused about something else entirely? :) I guess not being a Balrog player I dont really understand what the issue here is in the first place or how this would affect balance and consistency.  :? It might help if you would quote the Balrog site cards which ...

It's kind of weird for people to be asking for a ruling when one of the sides on the issue has completely failed to produce anything remotely resembling a valid argument for Nazgul auto attacks not being detainment against the Balrog.   The main reason I asked for a ruling is because the curen...

Where previously it was accepted (by some) that people could use Cram or And Forth They Hastened to untap a character to then tap to cancel a CvCC attack, this is no longer the case. The ruling's just clarified that untapping through Cram and And Forth He Hastened are considered to affect the strik...

Leadership

In my view leadership is about bringing people together as a team to get the best result for everybody. A good leader leaves ego out of it and works for team harmony, not to create division. When a leadership position is elected this is even more important. Disunity leads to disaffection and this af...

I saw Casino Royale last week. Absolutley fantastic. Old school Bond with the character much more like the books. Might appeal to LOTR fans for that reason. Also some fantastic action scenes. The initial chae scene (on foot) is amazing.

That looks like a very comprehensive list and well researched.

I'm not sure about the "what nots". I think you may find there are a few other promo items/prizes.

Surely that can't be right can it! By a strict reading of the rules it would appear so....   :(
