i would really like to participate, but first i need some practice at CGGC (which means i need more time . i am sure beornd wants to play too, and maybe we can convince another austrian player (@beornd: what about thomas?)

bane is a curse indeed!! thats another reason to prefer hobbits, cause then you are not so much pressed with corruptionand can save your MTs for the bane.

I dont' even put an item in the deck since there is a slight chance you'll draw it.  Instead I use a smoke rings or longbottom to bring over the shield when I need to do my search. actually there is almost no risk to put Enruned Shield straight into the deck. in case you draw into it too early...

i played this exactly last weekend.
corruption isn´t a big problem, since the second item will be "emerald of the mariner".

just want to let you know, that the program for the forthcoming Lure of MECCG VII is online.
and the registration period has started at 2nd october as announced.

i like all of it, probably because i just like playing MECCG
if i have to choose one in addition, i´d vote for the crap sealed, which is really great fun! and i would pass on more constructed to avoid the need of more deck building.

nico: could you write a small text introducing the decks, just like the CH-decks have? would make it much easier to play out of the box.
