I've done that once, at least in part. I was playing a detainment-based Elf deck against someone who happened to be playing Elrond, and I managed to get Master of the House out after returning him to my opponent's hand. It was quite fun.

You'd also get a bunch of nasty corruption checks, too, so I'm not sure that'd be worth it for one measly MP.
